Server Naming
The server name cannot exceed 15 character, the maximum length of the host name and of the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) is 63 bytes per label and 255 bytes per FQDN. Note Windows does not permit computer names that exceed 15 characters, and you cannot specify a DNS host name that differs from the NETBIOS host name.
Minimum Hardware Requirements
- Dedicated OS
- 6 cores
- 16 GB RAM
- Virtualized systems MUST use dedicated RAM (not shared)
- 250 GB free C: drive space after the OS install
- Server must maintain a minimum of 10 GB free space while running ProShip
