To Know: This is a cumulative patch. So, it includes all updates listed with previous Clippership 23.* releases.

  • A new label orientation option has been added to Zebra 203 label driver called “Printer Default”, this will allow for a printer to have an orientation set via the printer, or KI or some other means instead of sending the orientation per label. This is not recommended for normal use, but if there is a need to control it outside of Clippership, this option is available. [CSPA-529]
  • When using the option to Wait for peripherals to complete, with multiple peripherals a condition existed that could result in an error “Timeout waiting for processing peripheral – <label or document number>”. Changes have been made to address this issue. [CSPA-525]
  • On workstations with a large number of USB printers were registered, the peripheral engine could fail to load. This condition can be created by multiple USB printers directly connected and moving the printers from port to port or hub ports creating unique registry instances. [CSPA-513]
  • Zebra Standard labels with Media Type Label 4×6.75” Docutab did not produce a complete Docutab on non UPS Carriers. This has been addressed. [CSPA-521]
  • Labels produced for FedEx Ground on the Intermec standard driver were not produced in the correct language. This has been addressed[CSPA-499]
  • FedEx Ground Economy was not able to be processed to the Hold file when print label or generate tracking numbers to Hold was enabled, this issue has been addressed. [CSPA-516]
  • Most UPS Accessorial fees were zero in a prior release, including C.O.D. and Saturday Delivery that affect delivery options, this has been addressed and proper fees are now supplied.
    • It is highly recommended that UPS Shippers install this release as functionality to turn on these special services relies on fees being applied. [CSPA-528, CSPA-524]
  • During PLD creation data from the Detail file was not included in the upload to UPS as a result Detail Defined Reference fields and Quantum View Notification data was not uploaded. This has been addressed.
  • UPS Mail Innovations labels for destinations with ZIP+4 addresses, the Data Matrix 2D barcode was incorrectly formatted and did not include the last digit of the expanded ZIP Code, but this was present in the human readable portion of the label. [CSPA-523]
