CSWIN CLEAR

Note: The CSWIN CLEAR function resolves most Clippership startup problems, and Utilities, Close Carriers “unavailable” problems.

Running a CSWIN CLEAR clears out all Clippership users and forces Clippership to re-index its files and perform other tasks that can only run when there are no users logged in.

Warning: This will force the Clippership application to close down on all other workstations!

Exit Clippership
Go to Start > Run
Enter the path to your CSWIN.EXE, and append the word CLEAR. Click OK.
- i.e. S:\CSWIN\CSWIN.EXE CLEAR
- If unsure of the path, check %localappdata%\VirtualStore\Windows\win.ini first, then %windir%\win.ini, for CSWIN= in the [Tracer] section.
Log in to Clippership
After Clippership loads, exit, and restart with the normal shortcut

To Know: %localappdata% is typically C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local

To Know: %windir% is typcially C:\Windows
